Residents of Freeport,

West Central Sanitation plans to continue yard waste pick-up through the week of Thanksgiving. This could change at any moment depending on Mother Nature. If there is measurable snow on the ground in their coverage region, they will stop services earlier for the entire region. Once they call it quits for the year, there will be no continuation of services through that week. Meaning, if they decide to stop services on a Thursday, we would not have a yard waste pick-up that Friday.

It is looking to be a nice weekend and upcoming week so be proactive if you can and get your yard waste taken care of in a timely fashion to avoid any issues.
